This Skill allows the character to create non-magical Elixirs, poisons, oils, and solvents. For each time Alchemy is bought, the character receives 2 Alchemy Production Points (PP). This Skill also allows a character to exchange Alchemy PPs for Artificing.

A character with at least one rank of Alchemy may:

• Use Alchemy Globes (Packets)
• Identify Alchemical Gear as quickly as they can read the tag
• Mix Elixirs into food
• Use Alchemical Coatings
• Use any valid type of Alchemy Gear as another type (e.g., a Sleep Elixir may be used as a Sleep Globe)

Note: Some items (e.g., Enslavement Antidote Elixirs) may not be used as a Globe if no such Globe version is valid.

The effects of Herbal Lore have been incorporated into the first rank of Alchemy.

A character may create a Layered Alchemy item represented by a single tag, which holds up to 15 uses of the same item. Each use may be marked off individually on the tag. Layered tags cost the full PP cost of all items represented with no additional coin cost.
